Received 2 Likes on 2 Posts. The only way I know my truck is doing a regen is by watching the exhaust temps on my Torque phone app that's bluetoothed to the truck. Exhaust sensors 13 and 14 will show around 1100 degrees during a regen. Otherwise they go no higher than about 800 degrees, even while towing up hills.

Looks like I have manual and mobile regen buttons available on my unit!!! Crappy cellphone photo, but 2nd and 3rd items are manual and mobile regen buttons within the diagnostics screen. Keep your engine on for about 45 minutes for the regen process to take place. Don’t touch the gear lever or change the transmission. These actions can halt the process or damage your DPF. Parked Regeneration is easy to perform and you can use the time to rest after a long drive.
