The new CR1000A router doesn't have this second 5 GHz band so you have to connect the E3200 with ethernet or coax. There are actually wireless pods designed to work with the CR1000A but there is an inventory shortage right now. If wiring the E3200 is out of the question you can either wait on the pods or maybe buy a third-party mesh system.

Now recently I have moved and received one of the brand new CR1000A routers with WiFi 6E and all the other great features like 10 gbps and 2.5 gbps ethernet ports. Awesome. So imagine my surprise to find out that it’s just as worthless as the G3100 and vastly inferior to my old G1100 router.

For that, I am considering using Verizon's CR1000B router that was given to me for free with the Verizon Fios installation as a MoCA adapter, so that I can buy just one other MoCA adapter. The G3100 and the newer CR1000A both seem to have numerous issues in some situations. Several have gone back to their old G1100s after trying one of the newer ones. If your old G1100 works without any issues, go with it. You can try the CR1000A and see if you like it better. If so, great! If not, stick with the G1100.
