Hadn't seen more than a few post on PCV reroute for the L5P so I thought I'd share mine. Earlier gen hose required 5/8" hose it seems while the L5P uses 7/8" id. I chose not to use the stock short section as the hose I used is very good quality and retains its form.The transmission will shift normally up to the gear you have selected in Manual. In other words, if in M5 it will shift normally up to 5th gear and not go into 6th. They tell us to never use 6th while towing heavy. Keep the RPMs between 1800 and 2400 and it will stay the coolest, with around 2200 being the best.

I had set the trip odometer the day I bought it and it's averaging almost 17, including some mild camper towing. Tank to tank I'm seeing better than 18 with regens.Excessive regens! I just picked up a new 2019 GMC 3500 Denali 2 weeks ago. It has the new L5P in it which I love the power and torque. I had a 13 LML and a 15 LML and the 13 I deleted emissions problems solved, the 15 I only had 38,000 on it when I just traded it and I never deleted it. The L5p was a very small exhaust side configuration, small up pipes, small exhaust turbo vanes, etc. So I am guessing the ECM was seeing some very high EGT’s and cut power to keep from melting pistons.
