Case files seems good but it seems pretty basic and I've heard that the FM COMAT is more similar to IM? Any advice pleaseeee?I took EM comat my 4th year. I spent the entire month watching kdramas and the night before the comat I took a red eye across the country, landed 2 hrs before the comat, got to where I was staying and fell asleep during the comat for a little bit. That depends on you - I think it's a little over kill to finish both a UWORLD section and a COMQUEST Section for 1 COMAT. # of questions for each COMAT on COMQUEST: EM- 301, FM- 370, IM - 418, OB - 385, OMM - 122, PEDS - 338, PSYCH - 389, Surgery - 341. on UWORLD. Either way, our school requires 75th percentile to honor. Our school gives almost no weight to shelf, only need ~30th percentile on shelf with honors level clinical evals to get honors on the clerkship. Similarly, a perfect score on shelf cannot raise a high pass clinical evals to honors for the clerkship.Peds: uworld. I did well on all of them. No one resource felt adequate for the COMATs because they are very random. Uworld is good to learn the details just for your own sake, and COMBANK would be a good idea as it simulates the question style. I didn't get UW until the end of the year, so it isn't required to do well.

1) Subtract the mean from your score. 2) Divide that number by the SD (10) to find the z score. 3) Convert the z-score to a percentile using a z score to percentile calculator online. Example: You scored 118 on the Surgery COMAT. 118-100 = 18. 18/10= 1.8 (you are 1.8 SD above the mean).
