It says Remote TSTAT enabled, which I believe is for my Jandy remote. I go to fire it up (booster pump is running already of course) and nothing happens. After a minute or so, it says "Ign Fault".

I have a Jandy JXI260N heater, that will not start. It has a Fault High Flue Temp message as soon as it boots. I have jumped out the flue temp sensor with a wire, thinking it will either be open or closed depending on the sensor temperature. It does not have a fusable link in the flue. It is part R0719400. 2 wires come out of it.

Jandy recommends 3000-3500 ppm Low salt conditions can lead to early cell failure! They also recommend CYA between 50 - 75 ppm (running it at the upper end is better so shoot for 75 ppm). Jandy also states the CYA MUST be at 75 -85 ppm when water temperatures 85 degrees F or above. Don't depend on the builder, read the manual.
