Feb 23, 2023 · A bait below the surface, even just 5-10' deep, is the way to go for the wahoo. Sailfish action was good over the past weekend, but slowed late in the week with super calm conditions. No hot depth; as reports have bounced around from 200-800' of water throughout the week.From the pier bait it seems to be about a 50/50 split between bait and Doc's Goofy JIgs catching the pomps. Bright colored Goofy Jigs (Pink, Green, and Orange especially) remain the best color choice. The Juno Beach Pier has also had a solid number of jacks (Including some full grown ones!) cruising through.The Juno Beach Pier is a fair option though. Snook fishing remains good at the pier. Conditions and time of day will dictate the best bait option for snook on the pier, but generally speaking a live sand perch or croaker will be a good option. A few jacks cruising through, along with a tarpon or two. The Juno Beach Pier is a full-service saltwater fishing pier. It contains a pier house, guest service, gift shop, snack bar and fishing pole rentals and bait. The pier is open 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset. Before entering the pier you pay your entrance fee, $1 for spectators and $4 if you are fishing.
