Honestly, she is a great professor. She is very passionate, eccentric, and cares about her students. But man is she one of the harshest graders I've ever had at LSU. Prepare to have 1-2 assignments a week for this course, and they'll take about 1-3 hours a piece. She will prepare you for your honors thesis process. Just be ready for a lot of work. Dr. Protevi is a super nice and caring guy. The majority of the class is discussion based, and you will be expected to read 2-3 books. Only work there is is the group discussions each week, one analysis paper, the midterm, a group project, and the final. Dr. Protevi even gave us an extra two weeks to write paper and made final optional. Great guy!

Textbook: Yes. Hard class, but Professor Holmes did a good job trying to teach all the material (it's really just a lot). Go to class and study for the exams ahead of time. In-class quizzes, hw, and an easy project will save poor test grades. Go into office hours, she's very good at helping if you take the time.

Best physics professor at LSU. This is my 3rd time taking physics and he is bar far the best professor I've had. MBA program: has pros and cons. Pros: inexpensive, online/asynchronous, inexpensive, aacsb accredited, 10 classes. Cons: a lot of the professors are disengaged and just automate their class for the most part. 10/10 Recommend prof Chen. He truly cares about his students and always makes sure you know why you are doing what you are doing in class. He always offers help outside of class, exam review zooms, and a practice exam before tests. The homework is normal Wiley Plus but he gives his own exams.

Grade: B. Textbook: N/A. Professor Jeong is a very nice man, he learned students' names and created a comfortable classroom environment.
