I have the nails, logs and a hammer but still cant barricade a door or a window. I mean when i right click on windows and doors it says nothing about barricade. Fun fact, you can also use 3 metal bars, a propane torch, and a welding mask to create a barricade with the same durability of a metal sheet but the added bonus of being able to shoot / look through it. Barricades likely have a standardized effect on doors, adding the same amount of sHP to the job for zombies attacking them as to the windows; doors simply have a higher base sHP in general. A single zombie attacking an unbarricaded standard wooden house door can take upwards of five minutes in my experience to actually get through it.

A number of mods yes. But none that affect barricades. Thing is you can barricade windows from outside and inside so yes, windows can be double barricaded. I know that. But both inside and out were under the effect of vanished barricades that couldn't be removed or done in metal for a second time.When you build a "window" you are only building a wall with a space for a window. You can take windows from houses using a crowbar and put them in that space, you can then board them up.
