The door control unit monitors pulses form the sliding door motor. If the pulses indicate that the door is slowing down (i.e. binding up, or jammed up) the control unit stops the door, the beeper beeps three times, and the control unit reverses the door. 2. A couple of times when I've started it up when I get around to looking at the i-Mid display it is off, completely dark. At that point nothing I do will get it back on, including turning off the car and restarting it. After a while it will come back on at a restart.

Signs your odometer's been tampered with: First, use CarFax or AutoCheck to request a copy of the vehicle's history. This will include state registration and emission inspection data and a lot, lot more. Examine the dashboard for scratch marks or loose screws. Yes, a light should light up on the dash to indicate that the VSA is off. By chance is your TPMS indicator on? If your TPMS is indicating low tire pressure, the VSA can't be switched off. Update 2: after being in the shop for 4 day they can't figure out the backup sensor issue. They tried putting them in the right place but it still showed up wrong in the display. They ordered new sensors but again not working correctly.There are 3 different actuator motors under the dash. One for the driver side temperature control, one for the passenger side and one for the floor v/s the upper vents control. The two that usually go bad are the driver's and passenger's side temperature control.
