It's the damn DFI boards, I just know it. I bought my first LR3 two years ago and nearly a year in on the dot it started doing this - slow blue blink on startup, changing to fast yellow after pushing the Reset button. At the time, LR support sent me a new DFI kit and after replacement it's been working fine.

Used your step by step directions and was able to replace motor and wire harness in my cats litter robot 2. When I connected the litter robot to power supply yellow soild light then red solid light motor would not turn. Thankfully, I had not put the top andd bottom together.I got it to run a cycle, and even after unplugging it and plugging it back in it's stuck like this.
