New to me Security Six 2.75 inch barrel. Yesterday I was fortunate to come across a gun that has been on my short list for some time now. I would guess quite a few of have that short list of sorts of guns we would like to have but don't need. Well I found one yesterday and was quite please that I did.Both .357 Magnums are medium-to-large frame double-action revolvers with full-sized grips and a choice of several barrel lengths (three, four, and six inch barrel lengths in the Ruger’s case). Both revolvers have an adjustable rear sight & front sight (except for the three-inch GP100). Both weigh about the same. The big difference: quality.

Oct 20, 2015 · I see the Speed Six as something of interest to the hard core Ruger collector. As a concealed carry gun, the SP101 is better suited. I have a Security Six 357 and a Service SIx 38 Special. The 357 is just an exceptional firearm (with its action job).
