The sfar is really a niche AR10. If you want something lightweight but possibly more fragile and higher recoil then that’s for you. Remember Ruger made this specifically to make it more AR15 like and much lighter. I haven’t shot a PSA AR10, but I do have a PSA AR15. My experience with the Ruger SFAR has been pretty bad, to say the least. The two different times I've taken it to the range I've had way too many FTEs and short strokings, with the second trip having 2 consecutive bolt seizures. For some reason it absolutely refuses to function properly with any 7.62s, even with the gas fully open to setting 3.
