I've been experiencing a strange phenomona lately. When harvesting a stone node (lump of stone) i am getting coal and limestone as well. Does anyone else experience the same thing? It's my first time playing Conan Exiles apart from the intro years ago when I got it. Decided to give it another go. I've been following the Journey quests, getting those nice unlockables and it helps me figure out stuff to try. I got to Blacksmith though, and it said "Harvest Coal from a Coal node" and I finally found some, but GOSH what a journey!few spots in South west (edge of map) with rocks and iron, bits of coal.
