The 43X with a Shield Arms 15 rounder and one up the spout (for 16 rounds) weighs less at 24.4 ounces than the Shield with a Mag Guts +2 kit and one up the spout for (for 10 rounds), at 25.12 ounces! I can literally forget I am carrying it, especially when I use a sticky holster as IWB.

I want to quickly mention that the only difference between the Glock 43X MOS and the G48 MOS is the length of the slide. The G48 is longer. The optics footprint for both is exactly the same so all the optics and adapter plates mentioned in this article will fit both the G48 and G43X the same. What footprint is the Glock 43X MOS and G48 MOS?The Hellcat is a micro 9mm. The 43x is more the Hellcat Pro size. I have all 3. I carry the Pro over the 43x. They are damn near the same size, but the Pro comes with a 15rd magazine. I know about the Shieldarms 15rd magazine. I actually have them. Carry it daily but recently I've been carrying my 19.5 more and more. IMO the 48 MOS is the perfect intersection of the two. Im thinking of just swamping my carry gun to the 48 MOS. Opinions from y'all that have both. (I like the barrel length aspect of the 48 over the 43x and MOS for the rail to add a WML like my 19)
The initial OEM G48 / Glock 43X magazine offerings increased capacity to 10 rounds but still kept with the original G43's single-stack design. However, those who were (or are) hoping for compatibility between the G43 and G43X a la G17 and G19 will be disappointed. A Glock 43X magazine will not fit a 43's magazine well.

The "MOS" is a misnomer, Glock should have called it a "Glock 48 milled for the RMSc footprint", because that's what it is. The Glock 43X/48 don't come with a set of four MOS plates, like the double stack MOS Glocks. Complicating this is that Holosun made their k series footprint a bit different than the RMSs standard.
