I took my truck to a buddies garage (a Dodge mechanic), he said this is a common problem.Probally u joint. less then 20$ at adavance auto. take old u joint with hammer and a tap. take cap off of 1 side of new u joint set it in and lightly tap with hammer to put on cap. dont forget to put clips in. The clicking noise is from the front U-Joints behind the hub assembly at the ends of the axle.

Finally replaced stabilizer bar cushions (about $10 each) part # 478 268 4AB and that was the culprit. Hope this help prevent other wasting a bunch of money for a simple fix.
