Comcast pixelation problems 2023.
My Comcast hasn't been the same since they advertised they were upgrading my service for 10G experience starting 8/25/23. So far, upgrade has resulted in experiencing constant pixelation problems live and DVR, swapped both boxes, little difference.
Pixelation/glitching local channels. Horrible glitching/pixelating on local channels (ABC,NBC,CBS,FOX) only. This effects live viewing as well as recordings. HGTV intermittent pixelation during programs. Signed up for Philo TV to test if there was an issue there also, ruling out equipment. On Philo TV there are no issues with pixelation on WE TV or HGTV while testing. Pixelation was active on YouTube TV just before logging into Philo. Tek. Watch the same channel on the Stream app. If the picture is good then you have a signal issue and need a tech. If the stream app is having the same issue as the live TV then the problem is on Comcast's side and they will likely correct it on their own. The splitter was the problem. FYI. if you guy do this make sure you "REBOOT" all boxes and the router. The DVR bit rate between the boxes was still stuck in the previous reading. Also the engineer changed the coaxial cable going into the box as he said we had older type cable and can cause the pixelating. Also make sure the coaxial going into your modem is updated too.

When I have pixelation issues I like to try a system refresh signal. It takes a bit to process but I find it works to clear things up most times.
