Start 1st by checking ALL the u-joints. front driveshafr, front axle (both sides). jack up the front end check for play in the bearings by grasping the top and bottom of the tire and trying to move in and out, give the wheel a spin and listen for any rumbling. The front bearings shouls have ZERO play in them. Bet it's one of the axle u-joints ...It could be the alternator regenerative braking that charges the battery pack. Another possibility is it could be something in the rear differential. Keep in mind the transmission takes a while to learn your driving style.
