Went ahead online and looked for someone selling an E31T2V1 modem, contacted tech support and let them know I needed them to approve a mew modem. Did the modem swap and now have 0 issues. The E31U2V1 and E31N2V1 modems are awful and highly recommend anyone having issues with one of those modems to swap it for an E31T2V1 modem if you can find one.
