In fact, I swapped both guitars p'ups for Gibson P-90s within a week or so of owning each guitar. They are both excellent guitars. for live and recording.Gibson ES-135 is a surprisingly good guitar. A couple months ago, I picked up a 2002 Gibson ES-135 with what should be '57 Classic humbuckers. I like this guitar quite a lot but I can't seem to dial out the dark tone of it. It doesn't seem muddy or indistinct, but I'd like to brighten it some.
