I went to pickup the Acadia on Friday 7/25, paid for the repairs ($715), turned the key and check engine light is still on. Guy pulled the codes and I think they still pulled the lean codes (unsure). He thought this was because we did a cold start.

I had this problem just as you describe, as did others. (Knocking on wood) mine has been fixed. I hate to point you there but i dont remember all of the details. It did have to do with exposed electronics connectors to some of the (apparently several) computer modules. 2012 Acadia. Service stabilitrac, traction control and check engine light come on together whenever they want to for no certain reason then a very rough idle and smoke our the tailpipe.
