Honda crv clunking noise rear.

The noise on the rear sounds like a drone or humming with a cyclical pattern at speeds above 40 mph. It changes with speed but braking, turning, accelerating has no effect. There is no squealing or growling noise, just humming. Now, I have to figure out from which wheel the noise is coming from and if it is a bad wheel hub or CV joint.The front tires are one make, the rear tires anothe make. I agree that all tires should be the same, and conform to mfrs spec. But this clunking noise just started like a week ago, and it seems it occirs when the car has been driven for better than 15 minutes.
