Basically its just a switch that increases the rpm slightly in order to warm the engine faster. As far as I know, there is no way to adjust/override the idle timing because it is a safety feature. In my cascadia I hit the engine shutdown override rocker switch, then go to Vehicle Operations>Vehicle Settings>Engine Idle Adjust on the instrument panel.
