How to turn off alienware lights.
Turn off low blue light. Technical Support. Got an Alienware X17 r2 and then screen calibration drives me a bit nuts. I do not like blue like filters and this uses one in its calibration. Its fine in some cases and I will like it in those cases, but generally I would like to turn it off. Anyone found a way other than strange workarounds?

I just ran into this issue and found there is a setting in Civilization VI under the Interface section "Use compatible RGB lighting hardware". Turning this off should allow you to use any theme you want. I found the "enable 3rd party access to AlienFX" even when it is unchecked the game still changes the lighting.powered down the unit - alien head on the front of the machine still cycles through a set of colors. put unit into sleep mode - same behavior as above.
