Soul Survivor does not match make based on MMR but it does slightly affect your MMR. If you want to track your MMR you can always use hunt players.com which lets you report each game and track MMR change. Soul survivor seems to have about the same impact as a regular round for me.
A little correction, we know the range, but not our position in that range. Also ingame you see that each rank is a certain MMR point range. Like 2750-3000 (not the actual range but an example) but it only tells your rank (let’s say 5 star) not your number. The stars only show you your MMR bracket range, not actual MMR. The actual MMR is still hidden. If you go to the hunt folder you can click on attributes folder open in text doc. Ctrl-f and search for your name and it will show you a before and after mmr Stat for everyone in the game. It’s similar to an ELO system.
