The Sig Sauer P2022 is indeed a wonderful gun. We have 5 Sig Pro's in our family and every one of them get the pants shot off of them. Both of the Sig's have had many many rounds through them w/o any problems. This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread.
If you want the honest answer as to why Sig doesn’t have more stuff available for the 2022, it’s because it’s an outdated design that fires 2 outdated calibers, and one good one. My second question, I heard of QC issues with those models that were made, prior to them being first discontinued. The holster is the plastic paddle design very similar to Fobus holsters. I don't see a Sig part number on it but it says on the back that it fits the following models - 2009, 2022, 220, 226, 227, MK25, M11-A1. The holster fits the sp2022 very well except it is about 3/8" longer than it actually needs to be.

I have a SP2022, read and post in a lot of SP2022 threads, and have never heard of such.
