Jan 28, 2022 · Just updated my 2022 16" M1 Max to Monterey 12.2.1 and only one of my LG 27" 4K (set to 60Hz) displays is detected on USB, and that's only after power cycling the monitor a few times! Pretty crap for a £6,000 laptop. Displays both work fine connected by USB-C to my DELL laptop! AdonisSMU. Using an LG 27GL850 where the MacBook 16" is connected via HDMI I can only get up to 100hz without disabling VRR on the monitor's OSD. The problem is that I'm using the same monitor for PC gaming so it's a bit of a hassle to switch the OSD option on and off every time.
