Today, I am farming the same lost sector on Master (1350), where it says the exotic is common and not rare, but yet I find myself getting the exotics to drop way less. Like I said I know this could be RNG, but at the rate it dropped yesterday vs what it has been today almost leads me to believe the drop rates were reverse somehow.The lost sectors on solo will keep giving you new exotics you don't have, including the lost sector specific ones, then once you have all of them it will just drop any of them randomly. Either fix it so that the more difficult master lost sectors actually "commonly" drop exotics or change the description to say RARE. At this point legendary and master lost sectors drop exotics at the same rate. I have even gotten back to back drops in legendary and have not seen any drops in master after 20 runs.
