Lots of wolves and it's kinda far from everything. Even to go from the farmstead to Milton proper takes a few minutes and is infested with wolves. Imo it's one of the best houses in the game ambience wise but gray mother's house is in a much more convient location for a Milton base. Also imo Milton isn't a very fun place to base in general.
