The Yamaha V Star has a 249cc air-cooled V-twin engine. It will provide plenty of bottom-end torque as well as smooth roll-on power. The downdraft carburetor will give you the best fuel/air mixing. It will also provide the best delivery every time you throttle. One of the more fun features is the electric starting.

A few here have fixed the radio buttons not responding by taking the fairing apart and then using some di-electric grease in the adio connectors in there.
