It's most likely the root cause of the AC issue, or a faulty interconnect, -if you're lucky. Check all CUE-related fuses first. Then ensure the steering wheel controls communicate with the CUE.Apparently being out in the heat for too long can cause this issue. You can reset your cue screen by... 1. turning on car. 2. opening bay door. 3. turning car off (leave bay door open) 4. open car door and leave open for about 30 secs. 5. close door, turn on car, and lower bay door.

If the display appears fine, try resetting the system by turning off the ignition and removing the Cadillac Cue fuse for a few minutes. If resetting the system doesn’t resolve the problem, check for software updates by connecting your Cadillac to a reliable Wi-Fi network and navigating to the Cue settings menu.

Or if you have warranty the Dealer would replace the whole CUE unit but it would most likely fail again.

Have your dealer set up a technical case with XM/Sirrius, and they will get it corrected. They were able to fix the XTS within a day. The 3 month trial is correct, it should be active and functioning.
