Both of those groups then have their own questlines/paths to do. You can do them both simultaneously for a while, until it stops at "Do the raid with [group]"Honestly it’s more a matter of which faction is easier to grind reputation with. The settlers’ line within the vault is less buggy and it’s harder to grind reputation with them, so I’d recommend siding with the settlers. You can easily trade for the unique items each side would give you. 2. The reputation you earn from either side is more precious than the gold. Gold can be earned daily, but the final grind for reputation is a long and the amount of rep you get from the daily quests is minuscule. I recommend siding with the Foundation first.
