At the time AST said that after the deletion of MMTLP my broker would send over my Nextbridge share certificates and distribution instructions, and an account would be opened in my name.

Update - I hold my Nextbridge shares in eTrade. I just electronically requested transfer to AST today. So eTrade will send electronically to AST (which is free) or they will send paper certificates (that costs $60). So it takes a few business days to process. If I receive paper certificates I need to directly register with AST myself.So it is subject to rule 11140 which set an ex-dividend date. At market open on the 9th you were recorded as having nextbridge, which is non quoted so it can't trade. MMTLP was set to be cancelled and no longer has value so they had to halt it because they can't let people buy a literal nothing. NextBridge MMTLP and the special dividend. The closest I heard was that all sales must be matched up with a buyer by 4pm on 12DEC and that all “trades” between then and the 14th were simply settling the exchanges of all sales made on the 12th and no additional trading would occur (ie t+2 rule). However I am still not certain and this is not financial advice.
