I would suggest keep chugging along with your campaign and not worrying about it yet. The game really isn't that long, maybe 15 hours on average. Then once you've finished, reroll and go for all the gear you didn't get the first time around. I did that for the ent boss fights and all the guns and loot on Earth (there's tons!)
