I generally cut along the lowest full wind line on the inner fender. Removing the bottom 3 or so inches. and then hold them in position to mark for the A-frame clearance.It would drop rather fast to 1/4 tank when driven, then stay there for many miles. Then it would slowly go to 1/16 when there was 3 to 3.5 gallons left. Other clues were lower than normal oil pressure reading and pegged out temp gauge. 1st gen Blazers/Jimmys had either 13.2 or 20 tanks. I don't know the 2 or 4 door differences. 1 gen s10/Sonomas have either 13 or 20 gallon tanks. Either tank could be in short beds, long beds, regular cabs, ex cabs. ALL 2nd gen trucks have 18.5 gallon tanks.
