2 days ago · Added this cheek riser to a CZ 457 Varmint wood stock. Really easy to install and excellent riser for stocks that have traditional design. I’m running a large optic with a 50 MOA base, so I needed to run the scope higher up. I've never been too worried about what something looks like. More of a function over form sort of guy. I started out with a 457 Varmint model. I had 3 problems with the stock. The cheek weld, the grip and the weight. I added a victor company riser, added weight and formed a pistol grip to it using JB Weld.I purchased this product several months ago and finally got to use it last week. I got it set up on my CZ 457 Pro Varmint 22LR rifle that had low cheek rest on the wood stock. This riser fit the stock perfectly and I had to use the tallest insert to get my eye aligned with my scope.The 14mm and 22mm is measured from the top of the Boyd stock to the top of the cheek riser. So keep that in mind if using Velcro. I wanted to add that the shorter side of the Cheek riser is meant for the left side of the stock. My settings and filament. PLA. 3 Perimeters. 15% infill.
