With my first I lost the mucus plug around 39weeks and nothing happened for a while. I had some blood when the did a strech n sweep of my membranes but nothing significant. I finally went into labour 10 days after my due date. I didn't get the bloody show till I was well into labour (close to 7 cms before they broke).Last week at my 36w appointment I was 4cm dilated. I have an appointment today and was going to request a membrane sweep but I lost my mucus plug this morning. Would you still request a sweep?
