My direct tv is still active after cancellation. I recently cancelled my ATT direct tv package (landline phone, internet and Direct tv) on the 14th . I received the email to return the U verse equipment and receivers. They shut off my phone and internet the same day. But currently my Direct tv is still active and i can watch tv still.

I did a hard reset (hold red button down for 10 seconds) on the box attached to my Samsung TV. Of course that meant starting over with setup as if you just took the device out of the shipping box. If his and hers like the streaming at $50.00/mo savings, based on our package, we will cancel Satellite and return equipment to our local UPS store. I understand the streaming PQ on the standard channels, are a little bit better than satellite.
Sounds like the box is having an issue connecting to wifi. You can also restart the modem then restart the Dtv stream box again see if that fixes it. If not, you need to hook the box up with an ethernet cable for setup. Holding down the forward and back buttons pairs the remote. ( edited) 0.
