I stopped at the bank's drive thru ATM today, put the vehicle in park, and completed my ATM transaction as the engine idled. When I shifted to Drive the indicator light flashed and the engine revved but the Durango didn't budge.1) Set the emergency brake. 2) Insert key into the ignition and turn the ignition switch to the “ON” or “RUN” position. Basically when I sit at idle with the car running and in park for 10 - 15 minutes, I will get a message saying that I am not in park, the P on the dash and the rotory shifter blinks and to says to service the transmission.
