This is the original Christmas rum cake we all know and love---it is very, very boozy and my mother-in-law Nan used to make it all the time. You've got to try it this year; it is so, so delicious! (I have made slightly more rum glaze before just to really drive home that point and make the cake extra moist. Don't tell anyone!)
