1) Aggressive grip texture and 2) low bore axis. The P365 XLs grip texture is good. Better than anything I’ve tried from the factory except the S&W M&P 2.0. According to the Bore Axis table the P365 XL is on the low side. The result for me is relatively controllable recoil for such a light pistol.
