If you have overload rounds on smgs/autos it overwrites the anti barrier I think. if your running overload smg that take priority. If you have the artifact mod to make SMGs overload, then they can't also be AB when volatile. you need to break the volatile shield with a void weapon that does not currently have an artifact mod associated with ...

Volatile rounds not breaking barrier champs shields I noticed this was sometimes the case in all game modes but seems to be particularly buggy in legendary lost sectors. I will proc volatile rounds and fire at the barrier champ only to see that the barrier indicator is not on the weapon even though it says volatile rounds on the left hand side.
