They are very good 60cc saws but parts/dealership availability will only get worse in the coming years. I'm not trying to talk you out of a 6100, I really like mine, but you do need to take that into account.

The cs-490 is a discontinued product now - I could only find it new and available with a 16” bar for $379 at acme. ( I leave the used saw market for those who can diagnose problems quickly). That is the same price as cs-4910 with 16” bar. The price of the cs-501p is currently $500-520.

My experience was on a 16" bar 3hp saw worked great. Not as hard as a Stihl chain but trade off is easy sharpening. On a 24" bar with a 4+hp saw they don't hold up real well in the tough cutting. In the 2166-365/2172-372xp class the Jonsereds have a lower profile air filter housing. I happen to like that more than the higher profile Husqvarna air filer housing.

It doesn't have the small oil hole seen on Sthil and the bigger 590 Echo bars but may not be needed. My measurements indicate it should work as but if not a slight modification should do it.Usually for it takes around 100 psi for most 2 cycle to start. Pull the muffler and take a look see at the piston and cylinder for damage or just a stuck ring. You be surprise how many stuck rings I free over the years on trimmers and chainsaws.
