While this grip design is an attractive one, the eagle figure is set in too high relief for any comfortable use except perhaps when shooting very light loads. I think Colt should go back to the pre 3rd. generation design which lacked the eagle and was the standard of the pre war 1st. and the later 2nd. generation revolvers.
