I had set the trip odometer the day I bought it and it's averaging almost 17, including some mild camper towing. Easy enough, but for anyone doing it, don’t take the shield with the housing. All you need to do are the two 13mm bolts at the back, top/side. You’ll understand when you look at it.

I took it to Chevy (GM) Dealer for relearning per actuator replacement instructions. I would say your DIC is probably over by 1 mpg by my experiences with 23K mileson a '17 2500 LTZ. Mileage improved a little and I have never reset my 2nd mileage meter which reads 16.2 mpg for the average life of the truck with say 55% city and 35% highway and 10% towing.
