Yes glock has been around longer so its "proven" but what came down to me going with a Staccato c2 is that it checks every thing on my list out the box. I won't have to touch anything on the gun until I get bored and want to tinker with it. But the price is way less. At an MSRP of $1,499, the Prodigy is less than half of the typical Staccato and Wilson Combats. Disciples of those brands will likely claim you get what you pay for, and perhaps you do. Different answer. No. The compensator doesn’t change your first shot at all. It’s simply flattens the gun so you can more easily return for the second shot. And then, and then the EDC if you have to shoot from retention, you are blowing gas up in your face. If you are thinking about a C2 then to me, the answer is clear.

Staccato are production guns and of lower quality then Atlas. They're nice for production guns, but it's akin to asking for a comparison of a Springfield TRP to an Alchemy or Nighthawk. First some caveats. I only have like 500 rounds through this staccato and this is the third range trip with it. I've shot way more through my glocks and other glocks but I've also shot a considerable amount through other various platforms including 1911's, CZ's, and other 2011.

The Staccato P is absolutely worth every penny. Picked up my Staccato P DPO with aluminum frame and threaded stainless steel barrel. The first magazine through it at 10 yards made one large ragged hole. It is hands down the best shooting pistol I own. Even better with an optic.

That's what I gather too. My 3 options from what I've been able to find... 1. Leave as-is and just shoot the sht out of my pistol and new EPS. 2. C&H plate and they offer a 0.230 front sight for my C2. 3. New Dawson Precision Plate for the EPS which will allow the EPS to mount w/out the extra RMR plate.
