Mercedes gl450 high mileage issues.
Loud engine noise starting from cold. it was flawless and very pleasing to drive until now. When temperature drops below -5, starting the car produces a loud clacking metallic sound for about 2 seconds, then slowly vanishes. After that, engine runs as usual for the day. I have my own idea on the cause, but I want to hear from you also.
